URBAN worked with AHMM Architects on this mixed-use commercial scheme in central London. The aspiration for the public realm is to retain the witty landscape character of the local buildings and spaces and to forge better connections within this pivotal location.
Inspiration for the landscape design comes from the integration of historic and modern vernaculars present in this development. Treated simply, the landscape design reflects the historic alleyways, courtyards and working yards of London. Narrow entrances widen to reveal larger spaces for circulation, feature planting and seating opportunities.
